We would like to state that the advertised opening of a new "Café del Mar" in Sydney has nothing to do with our iconic Café del Mar brand. People behind this venue are taking advantage of trademark (name) registration made in bad faith several years ago and are misleading fans & collaborators into thinking that it is a venture authorized by Café del Mar Ibiza. Our legal team is working on bringing any non-authorized venues down and making these people responsible for their actions.
We are pleased that Meydan group has decided to cease any use of our“Café del Mar” brand in Dubai, and remove itfrom its premises: http://www.timeoutdubai.com/knowledge/news/45257-cafe-del-mar-dubai-is-no-more#.UmqJ2Pm-18Efollowing the highly publicized controversy last December: http://www.arabianbusiness.com/cafe-del-mar-says-dubai-launch-not-authorised-482729.html
