Classic
“Café del Mar – Classic” was released in June 2002, an album containing world renowned classical works adapted to the Café del Mar sound. This album was the first production released by Café del Mar Music, directed and arranged by Javier Losada and interpreted by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Synchronized with Gymnopedie Nº1 by Eric Satie, included on this disc, an animated 3D video clip was also made. The main character, while trying to discover what is hidden behind the 4 parts of a panel, finds the answers to tour games that turn out to be the identifying element of Café del Mar: the sunset.
The second volume, “Café del Mar – Classic II”, was released in March 2004. Following the same lines as its predecessor, it is a harmonious blend of the solemnity of Mozart, the spirituality of Pahcelbel and the internal world of Beethoven, among others. This production was also directed and arranged by Javier Losada and interpreted by the City of Prague Philharmonic as Café del Mar- Classic I.
